Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mirin

  • 1/2 cup Sake

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch

Method

  • Combine Soy Sauce, Mirin and Sake into a saucepan and turn to medium heat.

  • Bring sauce to a simmer and wait five minutes

  • Mix corn starch and water into a slurry and add to saucepan.

  • Stir until sauce begins to simmer again and thickens.

  • Pour into container and store in the fridge.

  • Sauce should keep for about a month.

  • Yields about 12 oz. of sauce.
